Purpose :

The purpose of the Symposium on Computational Chemistry is to bring together
leading researchers in the field so that the students and teachers in the Colleges and
Universities in this region can benefit from their talks and establish contacts. This
Symposium is planned as a satellite of the National Symposium 2006, which is the
biennial meeting of the theoretical chemists of India , being held this time at Bharadidasan
University, Trichy during 11-13th December 2006.

• Development of the Methods and Algorithms

• Computational Biochemistry and Drug Design

Nature of Programme :

The programme will consist of Invited Talks (30 minutes duration)and Contributed Poster
Presentations on the above topics.
